I made it home safely!

This time it’s about my tricks for communicating abroad!

I genuinely have zero language ability!

But that’s no reason to give up on going abroad — I just do everything I can with what I’ve got.

Overseas, Japanese culture is really well received.

But I can’t dress myself in a kimono, and I don’t even own one, so I put together kimono-style outfits from Kyoto’s #sousoustyle “SouSou,” recommended to me by a friend, and took those instead.

Beyond that, it’s all about a full-on smile and blasting people with impromptu Japanese lessons. (laughs)

Everyone I met abroad through the rally genuinely enjoyed the Japanese, and that alone was enough to make friends.

See! Life really is that simple!

And then! From Kansai Airport to Haneda.

No time to deal with jet lag!

As soon as I got home, I was straight off on a business trip.

I want to get carried away chasing another trophy abroad again too, so I’m working at full speed!
