The stage for this challenge: a 37-day, 14,000 km motor challenge from Peking to Paris.
In the middle of this extraordinary adventure, I feel, deeply, the warm support of everyone cheering me on.

So much encouragement from so many people has become my driving force, my strength for standing up to hard situations, all along the way,
and right now, facing the huge wall of also fighting cancer, having people connect with my challenge and cheer me on, wholeheartedly, means more to me than anything.

As of 18 January 2024, we're now under three weeks in the countdown to shipping the hundred-year-old Buick, our challenge car, to Peking, the May starting point.
A mechanic's report arrived from England.

We would also like to make you aware that the brake drums, Wheel Hubs, and spinners (wheel nuts) have been completed and will be ready for collection tomorrow morning as planned, this is very good news.

Just to let you know, the brake drums, wheel hubs, and spinners (wheel nuts) are already complete, and, as planned, will be ready to collect tomorrow morning.
This is genuinely great news.

The wheels themselves aren't finished yet, but the surrounding parts all seem to be ready.
Different suppliers are working together to build this, so the brake drums and wheel hubs need to move forward first before assembly can happen.

The drivetrain gears still haven't finished being remanufactured yet, but…
the Buick's collection date slipping by a week — a blessing in disguise, maybe??

Along the way, we've faced no shortage of hardship. But at the same time, we've also gotten to meet wonderful people, and found support that gave us real strength.

Starting 25 January 2024, we're heading to England for a final test-run check!

With the start of this challenge right in front of us now, my passion for the goal burns hotter with every passing day.

Carrying gratitude for everyone cheering me on, I'll keep moving forward, one step at a time. How this adventure ends is still unknown, but the bond with the people walking this road alongside me is, to me, the real treasure.
